Krushka, William Henry

Born 5^th May 1881 Ringarooma Tasmania to Frederick William and Fanny Krushka (nee Fry) a farmer who departed Melbourne 8^th February 1916 on board “HMAT Warilda” with the 12^th Infantry Battalion. On the 14^th March 1917 he was promoted to Lance Corporal.

He was killed in action 8^th June 1917 at Messines and is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Belgium.
