Krushka, William Henry
Born 5th May 1881 Ringarooma Tasmania to Frederick William and Fanny Krushka (nee Fry) a farmer who departed Melbourne 8th February 1916 on board “HMAT Warilda” with the 12th Infantry Battalion. On the 14th March 1917 he was promoted to Lance Corporal. He was killed in action 8th June 1917 at Messines and is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Belgium. |
