Lake Sydney Moor
Born 3rd August 1888 Hobart Tasmania to William and Florence Margaret Lake (nee Moor) an advertising manager living in Melbourne he embarked Melbourne 19th August 1916 on board “HMAT Karoola” with the 14 Australian General Hospital and Reinforcements. He was serving with the 4th Field Ambulance Australian Army Medical Corps when he was killed 1st November 1917 by a bomb in an air attack at Beersheba and was buried in the Beersheba War Cemetery, Israel.
