Lake Sydney Moor

Born 3^rd August 1888 Hobart Tasmania to William and Florence Margaret Lake (nee Moor) an advertising manager living in Melbourne he embarked Melbourne 19^th August 1916 on board “HMAT Karoola” with the 14 Australian General Hospital and Reinforcements.

He was serving with the 4th Field Ambulance Australian Army Medical Corps when he was killed 1^st November 1917 by a bomb in an air attack at Beersheba and was buried in the Beersheba War Cemetery, Israel.
