Lange, Frederick Einar
Born 10th September 1896 Hobart Tasmania the son of George Emil and Sarah Jane Lange (nee Clements) a labourer he embarked Adelaide 1st April 1915 on board “HMAT Port Lincoln” with the 12th Infantry Battalion.
He was killed in action 8th August 1915 on the Gallipoli Peninsula and is commemorated on the Lone Pine Memorial, Gallipoli Peninsula, Canakkale Province, Turkey
KILLED IN ACTION. LANGE.-Killed in Action August 8th, Private Frederick E. Lange, dearly beloved son of Sarah and the late George E. Lange of 81 Goulburn Street, Hobart. In the 19th year of his age. He did his duty
