Liddall, Ernest Edward

Born Port Arthur Tasmania the son of John and Ida Blanche Liddall (nee Boden) a labourer he embarked Hobart 1^st July 1916 on board “HMAT Berrima” with the 40^th Infantry Battalion.

He was appointed Lance Coporal 27^th June 1917 and on the 25^th October 1918 he was admitted to the 3^rd Australian General Hospital with influenza.

He died 11^th December 1918 Abbeville France from broncho pneumonia and was buried in the Abbeville Communal Cemetery Extension, Abbeville, Somme, France.
