Liddall, Ernest Edward

 

Born Port Arthur Tasmania the son of John and Ida Blanche Liddall (nee Boden) a labourer he embarked Hobart 1st July 1916 on board “HMAT Berrima” with the 40th Infantry Battalion.

 

He was appointed Lance Coporal 27th June 1917 and on the 25th October 1918 he was admitted to the 3rd Australian General Hospital with influenza.

 

He died 11th December 1918 Abbeville France from broncho pneumonia and was buried in the Abbeville Communal Cemetery Extension, Abbeville, Somme, France.
