ROLL OF HONOR.

On Wednesday night the Rev. H. M. Knuckey had the sorrowful duty of breaking the sad news to the parents that Pte Leslie Ling had been killed in action on Novcmbcr 14tli. The deceased soldier was 23 years of age, and assisted his father on the farm before enlisting. When he enlisted early in the war his parents had a farm at Elliott, but about three months ago they moved to Yolla. His parents received a letter from him on Tuesday evening. General regret was felt in the Yolla and Elliott district upon the receipt the sad intelligence.
