Livingston, Walter John

Born 27^th September 1896 Hobart Tasmania the son of Henry Walter and Florence Livingston (nee Scull) a schoolteacher he embarked Melbourne 20^th May 1916 on board “HMAT Medic” with the 23^rd Howitzer Brigade.

Cpl Livingston was killed in action 4^th October 1917 at Ypres Belgium where he died instantly after being hit in the face by a shell and is commemorated in the The Huts Cemetery, Ypres, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium.
