Low Stanley Cyril
Born 1893 Wellington New Zealand he attended school in Devonport Tasmania a clerk he enlisted 18th August 1914 Ballarat Victoria, served in France and Belgium and was discharged 28th June 1915 as medically unfit. He re-enlisted 5th July 1915 and was killed in action 22nd October 1917 and is commemorated in The Huts Cemetery, Belgium. Mrs. Towsey, of Archer Street, Devonport, has received information from the Base Records that her grandson Gunner Stanley C. Low was killed in action 'somewhere in France' on October 22. Gunner Low was only 31 years of age.
