Studio portrait of 3491 Acting Corporal (A/Cpl) Robert MacMichael, 11th Reinforcements, 12th Battalion, of Launceston, Tas. Prior to hid enlistment on 1 August 1915 in the AIF, he served with the 92nd Infantry, Citizens Military Forces. A/Cpl MacMichael embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Ascanius on 10 November 1915. He was killed in action on 28 March 1917 in France, whilst serving with the 52nd Battalion
