Mark, Edward Leslie

Born Snake Valley Victoria a labourer but married and living in Sheffield Tasmania when he departed Melbourne 22^nd December 1914 on board “HMAT Ceramic” with the 15^th Infantry Battalion.

 Corporal Mark was killed in action 11^th April 1917 by machine gun fire at Bullecourt and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, France.
