Mark, Edward Leslie
Born Snake Valley Victoria a labourer but married and living in Sheffield Tasmania when he departed Melbourne 22nd December 1914 on board “HMAT Ceramic” with the 15th Infantry Battalion. Corporal Mark was killed in action 11th April 1917 by machine gun fire at Bullecourt and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, France.
