Martin Edgar Rupert
Born 1891 Malvern Victoria the son of William Edwin and Mary Grace Martin (nee Palmer) he enlisted Queensland and embarked Melbourne 22nd December 1914 on board “HMAT Ceramic” with the 15th Infantry Battalion. Edgar Rupert Martain was living at Tullah when he enlisted. He died 30th April 1915 at sea on board HS Mashroba from wounds received on the Gallipoli Peninsula and is commemorated on the Lone Pine Memorial, Gallipoli Peninsula, Canakkale Province, Turkey
