Martin Edgar Rupert

Born 1891 Malvern Victoria the son of William Edwin and Mary Grace Martin (nee Palmer) he enlisted Queensland and embarked Melbourne 22^nd December 1914 on board “HMAT Ceramic” with the 15^th Infantry Battalion.

Edgar Rupert Martain was living at Tullah when he enlisted.

He died 30^th April 1915 at sea on board HS Mashroba from wounds received on the Gallipoli Peninsula and is commemorated on the Lone Pine Memorial, Gallipoli Peninsula, Canakkale Province, Turkey
