Martin Edwin
Born 8th July 1895 Dundas Tasmania the son of Edwin James and Agnes Martin (nee Chiplin) a mill hand he embarked Sydney 14th June 1917 on board “HMAT Hororata” with the 40th Infantry Battalion.
He died 1st April 1918 at the 1st Canadian General Hospital from gunshot wounds to the thigh resulting in amputation of the leg and is commemorated in the Etaples Military Cemetery, Etaples, Nord Pas de Calais, France
