Martin, George Alfred

Born 1895 Campbell Town Tasmania to George and Mary Angelina Martin (nee Nailer) a labourer from Forester’s Settlement who departed Melbourne 17^th April 1915 on board “HMAT Hororata” with the 15^th Infantry Battalion

He was wounded on the Gallipoli Peninsula and died 8^th August 1915. He is commemorated on the Lone Pine Memorial, Gallipoli, Turkey.
