Martin John Thomas

 

 

 

Born St Helens Tasmania the son of Edward Martin a stockman living in Victoria he embarked Sydney 17th March 1915 on board “HMAT Shropshire” with the 1st Light Horse Regiment.

 

He was killed in action 3rd November 1917 at Palestine and is commemorated in the Beersheba War Cemetery, Beersheba, Israel
