Martin John Thomas

Born St Helens Tasmania the son of Edward Martin a stockman living in Victoria he embarked Sydney 17^th March 1915 on board “HMAT Shropshire” with the 1^st Light Horse Regiment.

He was killed in action 3^rd November 1917 at Palestine and is commemorated in the Beersheba War Cemetery, Beersheba, Israel
