Mason, Roy St. Clair

Born 10^th November 1895 Ellendale Tasmania the only son of William John and Henrietta Cornelia Mason (nee Saunders) a letter carrier he embarked Melbourne 18^th February 1916 on board “HMAT Ballarat’ with the 12^th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action 19^th September 1917 and is commemorated in the Menin Gate Memorial, Ypres, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium.
