Matzen, Andrew Nicholas

Born Yackandandah, Victoria the son of Andrew and Jane Matzen a telephone mechanic he embarked Melbourne 24th August 1916 on board “HMAT Botanist” with the 12th Infantry Battalion.

 

He was killed in action 6th October 1917 in Belgium and is commemorated in the Perth Cemetery (China Wall), Ypres, Flanders, Belgium
