MAYNE, LINDEN ALFRED
Born 13th March 1890 Stowport Tasmania the son of William and Susannah Mayne (nee Boatwright) a farmer he embarked Melbourne 10th November 1915 on board “HMAT Ascanius” with the 12th Infantry Battalion. He was killed in action at Moquet Farm France by a shell on the 4th September 1916 and is commemorated in the Pozieres British Cemetery Ovillers-La Boisselle, France.
