MAYNE, LINDEN ALFRED

Born 13^th March 1890 Stowport Tasmania the son of William and Susannah Mayne (nee Boatwright) a farmer he embarked Melbourne 10^th November 1915 on board “HMAT Ascanius” with the 12^th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action at Moquet Farm France by a shell on the 4^th September 1916 and is commemorated in the Pozieres British Cemetery Ovillers-La Boisselle, France.
