McDonald, Findley Norman

Born Mansfield Victoria married to Nellie Tait McDonald a blacksmith he embarked Melbourne 14^th February 1917 on board “RMS Orontes” with the 15^th Machine Gun Company

He served for about 18 months with the 4^th Contingent in the Boer War

He was killed in action 16^th October 1917 in Belgium and is commemorated on the Menin Gate Memorial, Ypres, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium
