McInnes, Samuel Alexander
Born Clunes Victoria the son of Neil McInnes of Beech Forest Victoria a commission agent, he enlisted and embarked Hobart 1st July 1916 on board “HMAT Berrima” with the 40th Infantry Battalion and the rank of Lieutenant.
He died instantly 1st February 1917 in France when he was struck by a small shell and is commemorated in the Cite Bonjean Military Cemetery, Armentieres, Lille, France
