Mcallister William Henry

Born Hobart Tasmania the son of Richard and Ellen McAllister (nee Christy) a carpenter he embarked Melbourne 16^th November 1915 on board “HMAT Port Macquarie” with the 2^nd Divisional Ammunition Column.

Cpl McAllister was killed in action 29^th September 1918 in France and is commemorated in the Hargicourt British Cemetery, Picardie, France
