Metcher Claude Tasman
Born 16th October 1892 Launceston Tasmania to Frederick James and Agnes Metcher (nee Goodfellow) he was a Business Agent living in Sydney when he enlisted.
He embarked from Sydney on the HMAT Benalla with the 3rd. Pioneer Battalion.
He died of illness at the 47th Casualty Clearing Station France.
