A Wool Classer of 6 Brina Street Launceston who embarked Fremantle 19^th April 1915 on board “HMAT Argyllshire) with the 12^th Battalion

Was with the 52^nd Battalion when he was killed in action at Moquet Farm 4^th September 1916 and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, France
