Moran, Davitt James

Born 15^th September 1887 Westbury Tasmania to James and Ellen Moran (Nee Cuff) a farmer who departed Hobart 1^st. July 1916 on board “HMAT Berrima” with the 40^th Infantry Battalion.

On the 13^th October 1917 he was appointed Lance Corporal and one week later he was killed in action 20^th October 1917 and is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Belgium.
