Morris, Aram Benjamin

 

 

 

Born 16th June 1883 Cleveland Tasmania the son of John and Hannah Morris (nee Chamley) a labourer he embarked Sydney 14th June 1917 on board “HMAT Hororata” with the 40th Infantry Battalion.

 

He listed his brother Samuel Morris of Campbell Town as his next of kin.

 

He died 18th July 1918 at the 10th Australian Field Ambulance from gunshot wounds to the neck and side and was buried in the Daours Communal Cemetery Extension, Daours, Somme, France
