Morris, James Walter

 

Born 27th August 1892 Emu Bay Tasmania to Robert and Fanny Morris (nee Hind) a packer who departed Melbourne 16th October 1915 on board “HMAT Port Lincoln” with the 15th Infantry Battalion.

 Sergeant Morris was serving with the 47th Battalion when he was killed in action 28th March 1918 and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, France
