Muldoon Francis James

Born 6^th July 1895 Lefroy Tasmania to William and Rose Elizabeth Muldoon (nee Holmes). He departed Melbourne on the HMAT Ascanius 10^th November 1915 serving with the 29^th Infantry Battalion.

He was acting as stretcher bearer near Polygon Wood and was last seen leading a wounded soldier to the dressing station under heavy fire. He was never seen again and his body was not recovered. He was presumed killed in action 26^th. September 1917.
