Mulligan, Alfred

 

 ALFRED MULLIGAN

 

 

 

 

Born 1896 Hobart Tasmania the son Alfred and Mary Mulligan (nee Williams)  an apprentice in the printing trade he embarked Melbourne 4th July 1916 on board “HMAT Berrima” with the 15th Field Artillery Brigade.

Driver Mulligan was serving with the 14th Field Artillery Brigade when he died 2nd October 1917 at the 17th Casualty Clearing Station in Belgium from severe shrapnel wounds to the leg and arm and was buried in the Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery, Belgium.
