Studio portrait of 4549 Private (Pte) Thomas Hildred Munro, 14th Reinforcements, 12th Battalion, of St Helens, Tas. Pte Munro enlisted on 21 October 1915 and embarked aboard HMAT Warilda on 8 February 1916. On 16 August he was awarded a Military Medal (MM). He was killed in action on 17 October 1917 at Menin Road in Belgium
