Murray, Albert James

Born 1894 Emu Bay Tasmania the son of Edward and Martha Ann Murray (nee Sutton) a labourer he embarked Melbourne 27^th October 1915 on board “HMAT Ulysses” with the 26^th Infantry Battalion.

He was serving with the 12^th Battalion when he was killed in action 19^th August 1916 and is commemorated on the Australian National Memorial, Villers-Bretonneux, France
