Studio portrait of 2008 Private (Pte) Thomas Cairns Myers, 3rd Reinforcements, 26th Battalion, of Newtown, Vic, aged 44. Pte Myers enlisted on 29 June 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Makarini on 10 September 1915. He was killed in action on 25 August 1916 in France.
