Nelson, Gordon Ernest

Born 1894 Longford Tasmania the son of John and Maria Nelson (nee Priddy) a labourer he embarked Melbourne 22^nd December 1914 on board “HMAT Ceramic” with the 15^th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action 3^rd May 1916 on the Gallipoli Peninsula and is commemorated in Quinn's Post Cemetery, Gallipoli, Turkey.
