Nelson, Sydney John

Born 29^th April 1893 Longford Tasmania the son of John and Maria Nelson (nee Preddy) a labourer he embarked Hobart 20^th October 1914 on board “HMAT Geelong” with the 3^rd Light Horse Regiment.

He died 24^th October 1918 at the 31^st General Hospital Abbassia from pneumonia and was buried in the Cairo War Memorial Cemetery, Cairo, Egypt
