O'Malley, Anthony

Born 26^th August 1893 Huon Tasmania and married to Sarah Newbon a farmer he embarked Melbourne 26^th October 1916 on board “HMAT Ulysses” with the 12^th Infantry Battalion.

He suffered gunshot wounds to the back and chest one penetrating a kidney and was sent to England for treatment but unfortunately died 27^th September 1918 at the Endell Street Military Hospital London.  He was buried in the  Brookwood Military Cemetery, Pirbright, Surrey
