O'Neal, John Tasman Andrew

Born Uxbridge Tasmania the son of John and Kathleen O’Neal a 22 year old labourer he embarked Melbourne 29^th March 1916 with the 12^th Infantry Battalion.

He was serving with the 52^nd Battalion when he was killed in action 26^th January 1917 and like others with no known grave is commemorated on the Australian National Memorial, Villers-Bretonneux, France

His brother 5159 Pte Henry Alexander O'NEAL, 52nd Bn, returned to Australia 13 February 1917.
