Oliver, Norman Osker
Norman Osker Oliver (son of William Oliver & Elizabeth Hutt) born 10th April 1892, 'Tedworth', Springhill, Tasmania. Norman was reported missing, killed in action on 11th April 1917 in Bullecourt France. His death date is recorded the same. No known grave. Norman is listed on the Australian National Memorial, Villers-Bretonnuex, France. The plaque above is at the Australian War Memorial Wall, Canberra. Our granddaughter place this poppy beside his name some years ago while on a school excursion.
