Pacey, Hector Clarence

Born 18^th September 1891 Hobart Tasmania to Edward and Charlotte Pacey (nee Wilding) he embarked Brisbane 29^th June 1915 on the HMAT Aeneas with the 26^th Infantry Battalion. His good friend Montague Bertram Street enlisted at the same time.

They were both killed Pozieres France by the same shell. The bodies were found by Hector Pacey’s brother Albert who later married Montague’s younger sister, Winifred Street.
