Parker, Arthur Gregson

 

Born 9th March 1896 Deloraine Tasmania to Charles and Kate Parker (nee Wootton) he was a motor mechanic when he enlisted and was posted to the 12th Battalion. He embarked from Fremantle on the HMAT Argyllshire 19th April 1915

Mr  G. C. Parker of Sheffield received the sad news from the military authorities on Saturday that his son, Pte. Arthur Gregson Parker, had been killed in action in France. Deceased left Tasmania with the 12th Battalion, and was engaged in military service in Egypt, Gallipoli, and France.
