Paton, Douglas McMillan

Born 1891 Hobart Tasmania to Alexander and Agnes Paton (nee Spaven) and married to Juliet Pearl Gordon, a farmer he departed Melbourne 27^th September 1915 on board “HMAT Hororata” with the 26^th Infantry Battalion.

He died 29^th October 1917 in the 3^rd Canadian Casualty Clearing Station from gunshot wounds to the left shoulder and a DOUGLAS MCMILLAN PATON shattered jaw. He was buried in the Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery, Belgium.
