Paton, Herman Eric

 

 

Born 8th September 1889 Latrobe Tasmania the son of William Urquhart and Helen Isabella Paton (nee Pease) a clerk he embarked Melbourne 30th September 1916 on board “HMAT Palermo” with the 12th Infantry Battalion.

 

He died 29th May 1918 at the 1st Australian Field Ambulance Strazeele France from wounds received in the field and was buried in the Borre British Cemetery, Hazebrouck, Nord, France
