Patterson, Herbert Richard

Born Hobart Tasmania the son of John Edward and Winifred Mary Patterson a seaman/fireman he enlisted Seymour Victoria and embarked Melbourne 18^th September 1916 on board “HMAT Karroo” with the 2^nd Pioneer Battalion.

He died 22^nd December 1917 at the 2^nd Australian Casualty Clearing Station from a gunhot wound in the right thigh and was buried in the Trois Arbres Cemetery, Steenwerck, Nord, France.
