Patterson, Walter Charles
Born 20th September 1893 Snake Plains Tasmania the son of Walter Charles and Sarah Louisa Patterson (nee Denholm) an engine driver he embarked 8th February 1916 on board “HMAT Warilda” with the 12th Infantry Battalion.
He was serving with the 52nd Battalion when he was killed in action 3rd September 1916 at Moquet Farm and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, Villers-Bretonneux, France
