Patterson, Walter Charles

Born 20^th September 1893 Snake Plains Tasmania the son of Walter Charles and Sarah Louisa Patterson (nee Denholm) an engine driver he embarked 8^th February 1916 on board “HMAT Warilda” with the 12^th Infantry Battalion.

He was serving with the 52^nd Battalion when he was killed in action 3^rd September 1916 at Moquet Farm and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, Villers-Bretonneux, France
