PEARCE, ALBERT HERCULEAN AUGUSTUS
Studio portrait of 638 Private (Pte) Albert Herculean Augustus Pearce, 40th Battalion. A builder's labourer of Moonah, Tasmania, prior to enlistment, he embarked with C Company on HMAT Berrima (A35) on 1 July 1916. Pte Pearce was killed in action on 7 January 1917, aged 29 years and buried at Cite Bonjean Military Cemetery Armentieres
