Pearson, John Graham
Born Windsor England but living in Tasmania since he was 2 years old, a clerk at the Mt Lyell Offices he embarked Melbourne 28th July 1916 on board “HMAT Themistocles” with the Army Medical Corps.
He was serving with the 3rd Field Ambulance when he was killed in action 25th August 1918 in France and is commemorated in the Heath Cemetery, Harbonnieres A telegram has been received that Private John Graham Pearson, of the Army Medical Corps, son of Mr J. T. Pearson of Burnie was killed in action in France on August 25. Private Pearson was 31 years of age and before enlistment was engaged in the Mount Lyell Co.'s offices. He had been on active service for three years. Zeehan and Dundas Herald 16th September 1918
