Pennycuick, James
Born 7th June 1895 Oatlands Tasmania the son of John and Rose Jane Pennycuick (nee Johnson) a labourer he embarked Melbourne 24th August 1916 on board “HMAT Botanist” with the 12th Infantry Battalion. He had served with the 93rd Infantry He was killed in action 8th October 1917 in Belgium and is commemorated on the Menin Gate Memorial, Ypres, Flanders, Belgium
