Perkins Walter Delwyn 

He was born 1890 Oatlands Tasmania to Thomas Headley and Emily Perkins (nee Dawson) a stock and station agent who enlisted 27th August 1914 in New South Wales and embarked Sydney 20th October 1914 on board “HMAT Star of Victoria” with the 1st Light Horse Regiment and the rank of Lance Corporal.

 Trooper Perkins died 27th March 1915 at the Heliopolis Hospital from pneumonia and is commemorated in the Cairo War Memorial Cemetery, Egypt.
