Phillips Cecil Tasman
Born 1898 the son of Alfred and Rebecca Phillips (nee Mansfield) of Franklin he embarked with the 1st Battalion Wellington Regiment of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force
He died 9th June 1917 in France from wounds received in the field and was buried in the Bailleul Communal Cemetery Extension (Nord), Lille, Nord Pas de Calais, France
