Philpott, John Vivian George

Born 1896 Blackwood Creek Tasmania to John and Sarah Philpott (nee Preece) a labourer he embarked Adelaide 10^th February 1917 on board “HMAT Seang Bee” with the 12^th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action 24^th August 1918 and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, France.
