Phipps, Albert Edgar

Born 1888 Emu Bay Tasmania the son of Frederick William and Emma Phipps (nee Barnard) a labourer he embarked Melbourne 19^th February 1917 on board “HMAT Ballarat” with the 14^th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action 28^th September 1917 in Belgium and is commemorated in the Aeroplane Cemetery, Ypres, West-Vlaanderen, Flanders, Belgium
