Phipps, Albert Edgar
Born 1888 Emu Bay Tasmania the son of Frederick William and Emma Phipps (nee Barnard) a labourer he embarked Melbourne 19th February 1917 on board “HMAT Ballarat” with the 14th Infantry Battalion.
He was killed in action 28th September 1917 in Belgium and is commemorated in the Aeroplane Cemetery, Ypres, West-Vlaanderen, Flanders, Belgium
