Pike Leonard Charles

 

 

 

Born London England the son of Alfred and Emma Elizabeth Pike (nee Page) an engine driver he was living in Hobart Tasmania when he enlisted and embarked Brisbane 29th June 1915 on board “HMAT Aeneas” with the 26th Infantry Battalion.

 

He died 27th October 1915 from heart failure on the Gallipoli Peninsula and is commemorated in the Embarkation Pier Cemetery, Gallipoli Peninsula.
