Poultney Zephaniah

Born 1^st April 1882 Hobart Tasmania to John and Ann Elizabeth Poultney (nee Johnson) a bootmaker who embarked Hobart 20^th October1914 on board “HMAT Geelong with the 12^th Infantry Battalion

He died from shell wounds to the abdomen and left arm 9^th January 1917 enroute to the 36^th Casualty Clearing Station and was buried in the Heilly Station Cemetery, Mericourt-L'Abbe, France.
