Priestley, Henry James Vivian
Born 7th July 1887 Westbury Tasmania the son of George and Catherine Priestley (nee Roberts) married to Janet Nicola Tomkins, a draughtsman living in Western Australia he embarked Fremantle 2nd November 1914 on board “HMAT Ascanius” with the 11th Infantry Battalion.
He was killed in action 25th April 1915 on the Gallipoli Peninsula and is commemorated in the Baby 700 Cemetery, Gallipoli Peninsula, Canakkale Province, Turkey

AIF dearly loved youngest son of Catherine and the late Major George Priestley Tasmania and beloved husband of Janet Priestley late of 106 St. Leonard's Avenue, West Leederville, previously reported missing, and prisoner of war Turkey now reported killed at the Landing, Gallipoli April 25, 1915.
